I'd say it's virtually impossible to be sad when you hear, "Oh I want a hippopotamus for Christmas". 
So... even though it isn't Christmas yet...

It's pretty hard to feel bad when singing any Christmas songs, as long as you stay away from maudlin country cryin'-in-muh-beer-cuz-yer-done-gone songs.
