Rachel Alexandra Beats the Boys...AGAIN!!

Well, she's done it again. Rachel Alexandra, the filly who won the second leg of the Triple Crown, (the Preakness) has cemented herself as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, racing Thoroughbred filly of all time by becoming the only filly to win the Woodward Stakes...and she did it as a three-year-old against a field of more mature four-year-old (and older) boys! The call is pretty darn exciting...

  1. She is breathtaking!

I wasn't very happy about how things were handled by her new owners when they put her in the Preakness.

But there is no doubt that she is an absolute phenom.

  5. I love it - she was the only clean one cause she was never behind anyone.

I am just so in love with that filly! Disappointed that she didn't run in the Belmont but I think her owners made the right decision - we don't need anymore breakdowns on the track, and Rachel needed a break.
