LuLu's Boo-boo and Croc Dundee!

Okay...first I'd like to say that poor LuLu got a bit of a boo-boo last night. I guess she went to say hello to a friendly looking raccoon...and as it would turn out that cute, adorable, sweet looking little raccoon was not as happy-go-lucky as he appeared! In fact the rude little bugger sucker punched LuLu in the face! (or at least that is how it went down in my imagination. ) DB said that LuLu walked over and out of no where the raccoon just started whacking the crap out of her face with it's cute little paws. Now... In my (very) overactive imagination that little raccoon had a New York (Brooklyn to be more specific) accent and said, "Hey you with the blue eyes! YA YOU! Whatch'you lookin' at!" and then put his "dukes" up like what you'd expect from a fighting Irishmen...

He then proceeded to, unprovoked I might add, bop LuLu in the nose with a short little upper cut!

Of course in my version he also started dancing on his toes and muttering "float like a butterfly sting like a bee"!

The result of which is that LuLu now has a bit of a crooked nose....or at least I think so! Check it out! ....

With that being said I thought I'd tell you all about what I did last night. You see the past month my allergies have been horrible. I haven't wanted to complain because if I had my blog would have become a never ending rant the likes of the Blasted Blooming Bloody Buds of May!

Anyways, last night I had the first allergy free burst of bubbly energy I've had in weeks! And it just so happened to coincide with my flipping past the last scene of one of my all time favorite movies, Crocodile Dundee....

What proceeded was a little crazy. Lets just say that I danced. Oh I danced!

I swayed. I sashayed. I shook my hips like Shakira. My hips didn't lie. I yipped and hollered and worked my "humps, my lovely lady lumps". I danced like a acid trippin' hippy at Woodstock. I even "jazz hands".

And then I really let loose. I danced like wild man at a fire dance! I pawed the air like a panther! I waved my arms like an orangutan. I rode the pony, cast the line and did the alligator! I even "whoooo-eeed" ! And it felt soooo go-oood! All of this was in the privacy and comfort of my living room witnessed by a dog who barked and howled when I whoooo-eeeed and two cats that scrambled for safety when I started the hippy hippy shake. It was awesome.

So to sum it up.... I love Crocodile Dundee. I felt good for the first time in weeks. I danced.

And... This is the best ending to a movie EVER!!! You read for it? Here it goes...

And that is all I have to say about that.

  4. Glad you're feeling better and that LuLu's tangle with the raccoon wasn't worse than it was.

Glad you are feeling better, and I am glad that LuLu escaped her encounter with a racoon with only a scratch. :)

  6. Fellow Crocodile Dundee fan right here!!

Was it one or two? I like II the best.

Raccoons are rotten - they used beat the crap out of our cats when I was growing up - my dad got tired of paying the vets bills so he just started dispatching them one by one. Eventually they stopped coming around...

Tell ya - paintball gun, frozen paintballs. GREAT legal deterrent.
